CLEO

CLEO is an acclaimed visual artist who creates in multiple mediums. Life is her inspiration and the world is her canvas. She is co-creator, along with George S. Corey, of the award-winning The Social Contract podcast. A frequent collaborator with George, CLEO’s socially conscious art can be seen in the books Presidential Conversations and Presidential Conversations for Kids, as well as the digital singles BABY T, World War T, Waiting for Our Vote, and Marilyn/Valkyrie. Through her creative work and civic awareness, she remains committed to inspiring young minds and nurturing tomorrow’s leaders. CLEO continues to hone her artistry through travel, from which she draws constant inspiration.

George S. Corey

George S. Corey is a lifelong student of presidential politics and personalities. He is the author of the books Presidential Conversations, now in paperback, and Presidential Conversations for Kids, as well as the digital singles BABY T, World War T, Waiting for Our Vote, and Marilyn/Valkyrie. George is co-creator, along with The Artist CLEO, of the award-winning podcast The Social Contract. Through his written works and civic outreach, George remains committed to inspiring young minds. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife Cynthia, where they have enjoyed successful careers as attorneys and have numerous non-profit board affiliations such as Bread for the City, the National Building Museum, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the DC Police Foundation.

Tavia Gilbert

Tavia Gilbert is a full-cast Grammy nominee, Booklist Audiobook Narrator of the Year, and winner of multiple Audie Awards, including for Best Female Narrator. She is a performer, writer, director, producer, and the acclaimed narrator of more than 800 full-cast and multi-voice audiobooks. She’s also an award-winning writer, host, and producer of multiple nonfiction podcasts with a global audience, including Science Podcast of the Year Stories of Impact. Founder/CEO of Talkbox Productions, a development studio, Tavia was named a Genre-Defining Narrator: Master of Memoir by Audible.

Stephen DeRosa

Stephen DeRosa is a regular voice on The Social Contract podcast. He is proud to have performed in the audio editions of both Presidential Conversations and, most recently, Presidential Conversations for Kids. Broadway credits include: Mr. Saturday Night, Gary: A Sequel, On the Town, Betrayal, The Nance, Hairspray, and Into the Woods. Film and TV credits include: Hallmark’s A Holiday Spectacular, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and Eddie Cantor on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.

Maya Campbell

Maya Campbell is thrilled to supply the “kid” factor in this season of The Social Contract podcast. Maya is a middle school student who enjoys math, writing, cheerleading and volleyball. She is also interested in civics, especially presidential elections. When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher for all grades, including special education. Maya has appeared in a variety of productions at school and summer camp, and was selected to participate in a live interactive virtual show called The Pro Kids Show.
